THE FIRST BIG STEP

Aged just 7, Daniel moved up to the Mini class with DML Motorsport, even though it is normally reserved for drivers between 8 and 12 years old.

He received a special licence allowing him to race in Spain earlier than usual. His season ended prematurely due to a serious illness.

BACK TO WIN

Fully recovered, Daniel became Karting Champion of the Valencian Community, the youngest driver in the history of the class to do so.

He also finished 5th in the Spanish Championship and raced internationally at the IAME World Finals, starting the final from P11 aged only 8.

FROM NATIONAL SUCCESS TO EUROPE

Daniel became the youngest Spanish Mini champion in history and retained his Valencian Community title.

That same year he stepped up to the top international level with Team Driver and won both WSK championships he contested: WSK Euro Series and WSK Final Cup, in Mini Gr3 U10.

He closed an exceptional season with 40 races, 30 podiums, 16 wins and four championships won out of five contested.

LEARNING AMONG THE ELITE

Daniel made his OK-Junior debut aged just 11, facing drivers up to 14 years old and competing in some of the most prestigious championships in the world.

It was a season of huge learning and progression, with several genuine chances of victory.

Among his best performances was an outstanding IAME World Championship, and he closed the season with a podium in the final round of the WSK Final Cup at South Garda Karting.
